Amazon Appstore Worldwide is a team of talented technical professionals dedicated to building world-class products and services for mobile app developers and customers. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer passionate about core system architecture and cutting-edge technologies. As a QAE, you will plan, design, and automate various Appstore components, including Web front-ends, service back-ends, and Android Devices automation. You will also develop load testing and benchmarking tools for services and platforms. Our quality engineering team utilizes open source technologies to build automation tools and test frameworks to ensure robustness, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements.
2. Develop QA strategies that align with the overall system architecture.
3. Create and maintain test strategies, plans, and harnesses.
4. Oversee test execution, monitor progress, and report findings.
5. Work with the quality engineering team to deliver high-quality products.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing quality assurance teams.
• Experience managing manual and automation testers.
• Experience testing web technologies and backend services.
• Strong background in reviewing test plans, cases, and results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing quality metrics and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience transitioning QA programs from manual to automated testing.
