Job summary

Baum Precision Machining, Inc. in Pipersville, PA is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead our Quality team in aerospace/defense manufacturing. The role emphasizes GD&T proficiency, metrology leadership, CMM operation, and continuous improvement in a high-precision environment.

You will oversee calibration, FAI, NCR/MRB, CAPA, and internal/external quality audits while collaborating with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve process issues and uphold AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Quality, metrology or precision-manufacturing experience
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Strong hands-on inspection experience
• Experience with complex, tight-tolerance CNC-machined components
• Strong knowledge of precision inspection and metrology equipment
• Experience with FAI, NCR/MRB, CAPA and root-cause analysis
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001
• Leadership experience or ability to lead, train and mentor Quality personnel
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills

Baum Precision Machining is seeking a technically strong, hands-on Quality Manager to lead our Quality team and support our continued growth in complex aerospace and defense manufacturing.

This is more than a Quality Systems position. We are looking for a leader with thorough understanding of GD&T and precision dimensional inspection who can work directly with our Quality team to help improve our quality process

Aerospace Experience Is Not Required

Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 is preferred, but we encourage exceptional candidates from ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and other regulated precision-manufacturing environments to apply.
