We take initiative, exhibit pride in our accomplishments, and are trusted to work independently while collaborating to share ideas, support, and resources.

We are seeking a hands-on IT Quality Assurance Manager/Supervisor to lead and actively contribute to the testing efforts of enterprise technology solutions. This role is ideal for a working manager or supervisor who thrives in both leadership and technical execution, driving quality across software development through strategic planning, test automation, and rigorous quality metrics. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

A typical day in the life of the IT QA Manager/Supervisor will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Lead and manage a team of QA analysts and testers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Supervise and coordinate offshore QA resources, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Establish clear communication and collaboration practices with offshore teams to support test execution, defect triage, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies across functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Katalon or equivalent.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Actively participate in hands-on testing activities, including writing test cases, executing tests, logging defects, and validating fixes.
  • Define, track, and report on QA metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage, automation rate, release readiness) to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Ensure the use of best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and DevOps, adapting processes as needed for project demands.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, methodologies and process improvements to support evolving QA needs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s applications, infrastructure, and systems from a quality perspective.
  • Other duties as outlined in the PharmaCord Roles and Responsibilities matrix attached.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Proven experience in managing and collaborating with offshore QA teams.
  • Strong technical proficiency in test automation, scripting, and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Katalon).
  • Proven experience with manual and automated testing in complex IT environments.
  • Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and practices (TDD, BDD, exploratory testing, risk-based testing).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and offshore partners. Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to work individually or as part of a team, requiring little supervision, in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.
  • We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
