PS Seasoning & Spices Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Iron Ridge, WI. This hands-on leadership role oversees food safety and quality programs, leads audits, and drives continuous improvement across plant operations.

You will manage SQF/HACCP/GMPs frameworks, coordinate with compliance teams, and coach the Quality Control staff while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• 7+ years in GFSI-certified food manufacturing facilities
• 2–3 years in a quality leadership role
• Hands-on experience with FSMA Preventive Controls, HACCP, GMPs, SQF or other GFSI schemes
• HACCP certification required; BPCS, PCQI and SQF Practitioner certifications preferred
• Strong computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams
• Spanish bilingual skills a plus

At PS Seasoning, we’re committed to producing safe, high-quality products that meet the highest industry and regulatory standards. We’re seeking a driven, organized, and solutions-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead, strengthen, and continuously improve our food safety and quality programs.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with daily plant floor presence and direct influence on company‑wide quality performance.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Elevate Food Safety Systems

Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality programs including:

FDA Preventive Controls (FSMA)

SQF (Safe Quality Food)

HACCP

GMPs

Partner with the Regulatory & Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to FDA regulations and PS Seasoning standards.

Lead all customer audits, SQF audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audits.

Drive SQF internal audit programs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and cost efficiencies.

Develop plant‑specific QC metrics to measure performance and uncover improvement opportunities.

Independently initiate and lead process improvement and cost savings projects.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements while maintaining best‑in‑class industry standards.

Strengthen Plant Operations & Team Performance

Maintain daily presence on the plant floor to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Audit sanitation programs and verify effective execution.

Provide oversight, coaching, and development for Quality Control team members.

Lead onboarding and ongoing food safety and quality training for employees at all levels.

Develop and deliver practical training programs for line employees, supervisors, and production leads.

Maintain and enforce all food safety, employee safety, and quality policies.

What You Bring

7+ years of experience in GFSI-certified food manufacturing facilities

2–3 years in a quality leadership role

Current hands‑on experience with:

FSMA Preventive Controls

HACCP

GMPs

SQF or other GFSI certification scheme

HACCP certification required; BPCS, PCQI and SQF Practitioner certifications preferred

Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence teams

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast‑paced environment

Self‑driven, independent decisionmaker who thrives with minimal supervision

Spanish bilingual skills a plus
