Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States seeks a Quality Engineer to design and execute control plans, audit adherence, and lead containment and corrective actions for non-conformance. You may coach and develop Quality Engineers and Specialists.

You will coordinate data analyses across multiple projects, review quality planning, and ensure customer requirements are integrated into the QMS while communicating gaps to management. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with 6+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate report outs of data analysis from multiple Quality Engineers on multiple projects and product lines.
• Design the internal standards to be followed by the Quality Specialist and Quality Engineers.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality planning for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate root cause corrective action requirements and assign appropriate internal personnel and external experts as needed.
• Facilitate training, corrective action process review, and serve as the single point of contact to the customer for corrective action.
• Ensure all customer quality requirements are integrated into the QMS and communicate to management when gaps exist.
