Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for the Harvey, Illinois manufacturing plant. You will manage the Quality Department, drive plant-level process improvements, and lead supplier and internal quality efforts to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with 5–7 years of quality leadership in manufacturing, and prefers CQE/CQA credentials. LDAs include ISO 9001:2015 expertise and lean/Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or equivalent; 5–7 years of quality management in manufacturing.
• CQE or CQA credential strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the Quality department for the Harvey plant and support plant-level process improvements.
• Develop and lead the Quality department to meet customer-driven quality improvements.
• Document and perform root cause investigations for customer complaints and product rejections.
• Improve customer satisfaction by reducing or preventing complaints.
• Coordinate training on quality standards and procedures with Value Stream Manager.
• Ensure processes maintain Built in Quality and prevent internal rejects.
