Job summary

Sargent & Greenleaf (S&G) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Nicholasville, KY to optimize production processes, support new product introductions, and lead lean initiatives on the shop floor. This role partners with Operations, Quality, and R&D to ensure safety, quality, and delivery performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background with GD&T proficiency, problem-solving skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and work instructions with emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Plan and manage product quality activities during transfer to production and support validation activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical manufacturing issues on the production line.
