Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the U.S. Quality Department in Torrington, CT.

You will oversee Quality Engineers and inspection teams, maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001, and drive ISO 13485 implementation while partnering with Operations, Sales, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate provides hands-on leadership with a proven ISO implementation track record and the ability to advance quality systems across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success implementing a new ISO standard in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead AS9100 and ISO certification audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. Quality Department, overseeing QA engineers and inspection teams.
• Maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance while guiding ISO 13485 implementation.
• Prepare for and manage internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Oversee customer quality issues, RCCA, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier quality efforts and FAI/PPAP activities.
• Develop quality strategy, reporting, and systems for growth.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, and executive leadership on ERP/MES initiatives.
