Job summary

Star Manufacturing in Florida is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality and Food Safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

The role focuses on developing quality systems, supporting audits, guiding CAPA, and training staff to uphold GMP, HACCP, and FDA standards, with relocation to LaBelle, FL preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, QA, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with FDA inspections and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and applicable industry standards
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external and regulatory audits
• Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective measures
• Review and maintain SOPs, GMPs, and quality documentation
• Train employees on food safety and quality standards
• Monitor production processes to ensure product consistency and compliance
• Work closely with Operations, Production, and Leadership teams
