HSM is seeking a Quality Manager to lead all plant quality programs in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You will own APQP/PPAP, manage nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, while partnering with engineering and operations to ensure successful product launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years in quality management, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, preferably in automotive-related manufacturing.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with professional experience.
• At least five years of quality management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3.
• Experience leading customer-facing audits and corrective-action initiatives.
• Ability to coach and develop quality professionals.

Mansioni

• Lead plant quality programs and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Investigate nonconformances and oversee corrective and preventive actions (8D, root cause analysis).
• Manage APQP activities for new product launches, including sampling and validation.
• Review and approve PPAP submissions and related quality documentation.
• Ensure PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and other core quality tools are maintained.
• Mentor the quality team and collaborate with operations and engineering.
