Job summary

Universal Hose & Braid is seeking a Quality Manager to lead inspections, testing and documentation across hose production. You will ensure that customer specifications are met and that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards.

The role emphasizes proactive quality improvements, collaboration with welding and production teams, and maintaining traceability and product cleanliness throughout all stages of production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality role related to welding, fabrication and product testing.
• AWS certified weld inspection.
• Liquid Oxygen Safety Training and Product Cleaning.
• ASNT - Helium Leak Detection.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints/drawings for hose products.
• Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with welders and test personnel.
• Document control of inbound materials and maintain material traceability for each production order.
• Ensure that quality check procedures are followed during hose production and assembly.
• Monitor cleaning system and titration levels to maintain process control.
• Support inspections, non-destructive tests and pressure tests on hose products.
• Inspect product packaging and labelling for shipment; correct deficiencies in the product process flow.
