Job description

Indorama Ventures – Indovinya is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead Coordinator for the EHSQ Assurance team in Port Neches, Texas.

The role ensures the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) through audits to achieve compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality and Food Safety System.

Responsibilities
  • Define KPIs and develop governance for continuous improvement.
  • Lead local Quality & Product/Food Safety Committees.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage audit processes.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • Manage non-conformance data, track follow‑ups, determine applicability, and ensure effective resolutions.
  • Provide feedback and approval during new product introduction processes.
  • Promote compliance with the Quality and Safety Management System.
  • Maintain current quality certifications and implement actions based on risk analysis and nonconformities.
  • Implement new quality certifications in alignment with business strategy.
  • Manage customer paperwork relevant to the Quality and Food Safety System (questionnaires, quality agreements, contracts, statements).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hosting customer audits.
  • Conduct quality onboarding for new employees.
  • Qualify and monitor suppliers and conduct supplier audits.
  • Monitor quality metrics, report status to senior management, and prepare regular reports.
  • Develop cleaning and CCP validations.
  • Monitor the Foreign Supplier Verification Program – FDA.
  • Track the waiver process for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Implement GMP practices applicable to Quality Assurance.
  • Develop initiatives and programs to promote quality standards.
  • Deliver training and manage budget/processed invoices for QA activities.
  • Support other functions in QA‑related aspects or inquiries.
  • Perform and support other activities at other facilities or locations as requested.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Chemical/Petrochemical industry.
  • ISO 9001 auditor experience and internal audit of GMP/GDP/GFSI certifications (BRC, FSSC 22000, EXCiPACT, RC14001, RSPO, etc.).
  • Green Belt certification or higher.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office (including SharePoint and PowerBI).
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP regulatory standards.
  • Excellent facilitation, team‑building, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; effective at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and ability to multitask while maintaining accurate records.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of safety awareness.
  • Higher-level integrity and ability to manage changing priorities.
