Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited is seeking a Process Control Engineer in Lake Charles, LA to support unit operations by maintaining and enhancing control strategies and assets. You will provide technical support for PLCs, DCS systems, and Safety Instrumented Systems to improve production efficiency and safety.
The role requires a B.S. in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in petrochemical or refining facilities, with proficiency in SAP and common office tools.

The Process Control Engineer supports unit operations by maintaining and enhancing process control applications and assets. Provides expertise to support the safe, environmentally sound, and efficient operation of the processing units.
Responsibilities include:
Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs.
B.S. Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field; AND Minimum of 5 years of process/process controls/operations engineering experience in a petrochemical or refining facility required.
