Job summary

Honda is seeking a Quality Management System (QMS) representative and Plant Lead for Internal Auditing at its Ohio facility. You will oversee all QMS and audit activities, advise departments and leadership on improvements, and represent the plant on regional and global QMS committees.

As QMS Team Lead, you will direct team operations, ensure compliance with Honda policies, and manage quality performance through continuous improvement initiatives to sustain excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or quality (or equivalent)
• Lead Auditor Certification required
• 8+ years in manufacturing/quality with at least 1 year in QMS/auditing
• Strong knowledge of Honda’s QMS, SEQCDM guidelines, and business systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team, adapt to change, and make decisions under pressure

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant-level QMS documents aligned with global standards
• Lead external and internal audits, manage findings, and ensure corrective actions
• Report on QMS status, audit progress, and improvement initiatives to top management
• Facilitate training for internal auditors and promote best practices
• Lead team activities, resource allocation, and performance management
• Drive cross-departmental collaboration to sustain QMS compliance and quality excellence
