Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a QMS Subject Matter Expert to lead department compliance with Quality Management System requirements and drive continuous improvement across TMP-O.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining documentation, coordinating internal and external audits, and communicating findings to leadership. The ideal candidate has knowledge of QMS, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field; or equivalent relevant job experience.
• 0-6 years of experience based on education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Conflict resolution and empowerment for consensus-building
• Knowledge of QMS requirements and SEQCDM guidelines
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to manage time and multi-task
• At least 1 year of related auditing experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage department compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
• Develop and maintain QMS documentation systems and ensure consistency with standards.
• Communicate QMS activities and changes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external audits and interface with auditors.
• Review audit findings to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices across TMP-O.
