Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead in Grottoes, VA to own the QMS, ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and GFSI/BCP guidelines, and lead the quality team across shifts.

This role collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement, oversee audits, CAPA, and product release decisions, and ensure packaging safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• GFSI program experience or exposure is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISO-based quality systems and GMPs.
• Experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to analyze quality trends and drive CAPA actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Quality Management System and audit readiness.
• Supervise Quality Technicians and Inspectors across shifts.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Manage CAPA programs and root-cause investigations.
• Review complaints and deviations to ensure timely resolutions.
• Prepare reports for Plant Leadership and participate in Management Reviews.
