Job summary

Mondi is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the implementation of quality policies and ensure products meet high standards across the manufacturing process at our Kentucky facility.

You will audit processes, manage testing, and drive corrective actions, while maintaining ISO 14001, GFSI, HACCP and SQF compliance, and collaborating with suppliers and customers to optimize quality and cost.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience required; food converting or packing preferred.
• Must have completed HACCP course and SQF practitioner training.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on excellence and innovation.
• SAP and ADP knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, production or manufacturing disciplines preferred.
• Previous Continuous Improvement/Lean management experience preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders across all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Handles customer complaints, project updates, returns, and credits; leads corrective action initiatives.
• Partners with production staff to ensure compliance with quality protocols and documentations.
• Implements process improvements and testing protocols; analyzes data and root causes.
• Builds relationships with external partners, suppliers and customers.
• Serves as SQF practitioner and HACCP coordinator for the facility.
• Ensures final products meet safety and quality standards while optimizing efficiency and cost.
• Leads quality improvement projects and manages materials on quality hold.
