Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC inspection group, supervise inspectors, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on staffing, training, budgeting, and KPI reporting, with strong emphasis on compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and related codes. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related sciences or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of supervisor/lead experience.
• Experience using ISO 9001:2015 and other quality management systems.
• Experience in resource planning and forecasting headcount needs.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS D1.1 and related quality codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC inspection group and manage staffing, coaching and performance.
• Manage headcount and QA budget performance to plan.
• Provide staffing and budget input to Operations Quality Manager.
• Analyze QC data, implement quality improvements and report KPI metrics.
• Enforce QC processes, procedures and corrective actions.
