Job summary

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Sufficient PC skills to compile reports and create documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products according to standards.
• Reject non-conforming products and fill out reject tags.
• Document inspection results with organized reports for internal use.
• Lead PSI preparation and coordinate with external inspectors until completion.
• Manage ISO certification tasks including internal audits and training.
• Communicate with customers' quality or procurement teams to resolve non-conformances.
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand requirements.
• Measure product dimensions and evaluate final product against specs.
• Suggest improvements to production and inspection processes for quality and cost control.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) for new projects.
• Monitor scrap and QC holds and collaborate with production to resolve issues.
