Job summary

Saybolt India seeks a Quality Officer to support the quality management system across inspection, testing, and laboratory operations.

The role ensures ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, maintains documentation, and coordinates audits, CAPA and quality records. You will work with lab and operations teams to promote data integrity and continuous improvement, and support client audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, science or related field.
3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, laboratory quality, or inspection services.
Internal auditor training for ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 preferred.

Responsibilities

Support implementation and maintenance of the quality management system across India operations.
Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable, and client requirements.
Maintain controlled quality documentation and ensure current document versions are used.
Plan, coordinate and conduct internal quality audits; document findings and follow up corrective actions.
Record and monitor non-conformities, CAPA, and quality performance metrics.
Assist with external audits, accreditation assessments, and client audits.
