Job summary

A dynamic research and consulting firm is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee quality assurance and inspection activities. The role involves developing quality programs, performing inspections and audits, and ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates must have relevant certifications and substantial experience in quality assurance roles. This full-time position is located onsite in Wallops Island, VA, offering a salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 biweekly along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience inspecting complex components and systems.
• Experience planning and conducting audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP).
• Design and maintain a Quality Assurance Inspection Plan (QAIP).
• Perform inspections of components, systems, and installations.
• Plan and conduct quality audits to assess compliance.
• Recommend and support implementation of process improvements.

Skills

Certification as an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)

6+ years of quality assurance inspections experience

2+ years in a supervisory role

Experience with blueprints and technical specifications

Ability to analyze production data
