Job summary

A leading quality assurance firm is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist located in Aberdeen, MD. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards and leading internal audits. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance. Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in quality assurance within a high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electro-mechanical systems manufacture is preferred.
• Strong capabilities in quality planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues.
• Deploy corrective and preventive action management with root cause analysis.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the QMS to ISO9001.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communications

Strong analytical approach

Fluency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio

SAP ERP experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related discipline

ASQ-Certified Quality Auditor

Lean six sigma green belt certified
