Oberto Snacks, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for 1st shift on-site in Kent, WA. The role focuses on managing nonconforming inventory, QA testing, and ensuring compliance with customer, company, and regulatory specifications.

The position offers growth opportunities, a competitive wage of $27.00 per hour, and collaboration across functions to uphold Oberto’s quality standards and mission.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• HACCP Certified.
• Internal Auditor Trained preferred.
• 2+ years of Food Safety, Quality Control, Quality Assurance or other regulatory related leadership experience within a USDA or FDA environment
• Experience implementing and operating GFSI programs (BRC, SQF) in a food processing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide oversight and maintenance of quality programs, systems and procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance with standards and agency guidelines.
• Lead audit and inspection prep and manage nonconformances.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and QA teams to improve processes.
• Analyze QA metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Participate in HACCP and SQF teams; support training.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
