Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation seeks an experienced QA leader to design and oversee the quality control and safety program across fabrication, machining, and prototyping. You will inspect processes, maintain master QC files, and drive continual improvements in product quality for government and private sector programs.

The role requires a decade of QA leadership, with at least five years in production facilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior inspectors. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, technical, or business discipline.
• 10 years of relevant QA leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
• At least 5 of the 10 years in production facilities.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience maintaining inspection records and implementing corrective actions.

Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $33.27/Hr. - USD $55.43/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

• Designing, developing, and overseeing the quality control and safety program to ensure full compliance across all fabrication, machining, and prototyping efforts
• Analyzing complex quality requirements, leading the investigation of significant deficiencies, and maintaining all master Quality Control files

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline
  • Or an Associate’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and two additional years of work experience
  • Or High School diploma/GED and six additional years of work experience
• 10 years of relevant experience in a lead QA role including:
  • Performing inspections, quality assurance tasks, or technical evaluations within a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment
  • Designing, developing, and overseeing comprehensive quality control and safety programs
• Of the 10 years of experience, at least 5 years directly related to production facilities
• Demonstrated experience maintaining detailed inspection records, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Experience identifying inspection methodologies (what, when, and how inspections are conducted), leading investigations of significant deficiencies, and updating inspection techniques or manufacturing methods
• Experience analyzing complex quality requirements to determine the necessary controls, processes, tooling, and test equipment needed to assure product quality
• Experience maintaining master Quality Control files and serving as the primary point of contact for quality matters
• Experience providing guidance and mentorship to lower level inspectorsPossess a current DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills

• Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 auditing, etc.)
• 10 or more years of experience within DoD manufacturing or production facilities

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
