Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a qualified engineer or inspector to perform quality assurance inspections for kitting and integration of C5ISR systems, equipment, and components. This role is contingent upon funding and requires U.S.

citizenship and a SECRET level security clearance. Candidates should have a relevant engineering/technical/business degree with experience in quality control, inspections across phases, and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline with at least one year of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an engineering inspector implementing quality control and safety plans.
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established standards, specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring performance requirements and identifying specific areas to be inspected and how often inspections will be accomplished.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining quality control files and documenting results of inspections.
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement including updates inspection and testing techniques, instrumentation, and manufacturing methods and processes

Salary Statement
Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $63,150.00/Yr. - USD $105,200.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and at least one year of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and at least four years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma / General Educational Development (GED) and at least six years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience as an engineering inspector implementing quality control and safety plans
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established standards, specifications, and applicable regulations
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring performance requirements and identifying specific areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining quality control files, and documenting results of inspections
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement that includes updates inspection and testing techniques, instrumentation, and manufacturing methods and processes
Desired Skills
  • Quality assurance experience with C5ISR integration into air platforms and ground mobile systems
  • Experience with NAWCAD WOLF quality processes
Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements
  • No more than ten business days per calendar year
