Job summary

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for the night shift to ensure food safety and QA programs are carried out and communicated to on-site leadership. The role includes training QA Technicians, prioritizing department tasks, and performing QA technician duties as needed.

The candidate should have 1–5 years in QA/food safety in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work overtime. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

• 1-5 years of experience in quality control and food safety in manufacturing
• Working knowledge of quality and food safety methodologies and implementation within manufacturing environments
• Must have excellent leadership, communication, training, and team building skills.
• Must have good writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to the concerns of managers and subordinates.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.
• Must have basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to use QC/date software systems like Produce Pro/Red Zone/Heavy Connect.
• Must be able to work overtime depending on business need.

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead responsible for ensuring that food safety and quality assurance monitoring programs are carried out. Communicate results to supervisor and other on-site leadership as needed. Facilitate training of Quality Assurance Technicians. Prioritize department needs and assign staff accordingly. Perform all roles of quality assurance technicians. Support, implement, improve, and maintain quality assurance and food safety programs. Total Rewards: $19.75 + 0.20 (NIGHT PREMIUM) / HOUR
