MAINTENANCE LEAD PERSON

LOCATION: PREMIER

SHIFT: DAY (5:00AM-1:30PM)

About the Opportunity: Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Lead Person responsible to manage, train, and direct maintenance crew. Perform various maintenance tasks as directed by Maintenance Supervisor or Production Manager. What You Will Need

• Must have a valid Forklift Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and refrigeration safety; including chlorine hazards, confined space and lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Must have knowledge of all phases of mechanical equipment including reduction gear and double reduction gear, bearings, belting, and pumps.
• Must be able to cut with plasma, acetylene torch, and power tools.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with TIG and MIG on stainless and black steel.
• Welds must pass food grade requirements.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a positive and professional attitude towards employees, visitors and vendors.
• Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to train and re-train on all of the above trades.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
