Job summary

Elanco Animal Health is offering a Summer 2027 Quality Assurance Internship at the Fort Dodge, IA manufacturing plant. You will join the Quality Assurance team to support manufacturing and distribution of products, gaining exposure to Quality Management Systems, Pharmaceutical Products, and Audits.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Science or Engineering, with strong communication and organizational skills, eager to learn and work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Defining, measuring, analyzing, and improving identified processes within the quality organization.
• Understand the Manufacturing processes and how Quality supports the process and business.
• Work within cross-functional teams to support inspection readiness activities, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Get real-world experience in the regulated environment.
• Assist with the production and analytical processes to ensure they are carried out with appropriate Sterility Assurance standards.
• Study design improvement process.
