Elanco is seeking a Summer 2027 Quality Assurance Intern at the Fort Dodge, IA manufacturing plant. You will support the Quality Assurance team with activities spanning Quality Management System, Pharmaceutical Products, and Audits, gaining exposure to manufacturing and distribution oversight for commercial products.

The internship emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, real-world regulated environment experience, and professional development through mentorship and housing support.

Your Role: Quality Assurance Intern - Fort Dodge, Iowa (Summer 2027)

As a Summer 2027 Quality Assurance Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Quality Assurance team at our Fort Dodge, Iowa manufacturing plant , support ing activities related to the oversight of manufacturing and distribution of commercial products. There will be several opportunities to gain experience in different areas within Quality, such as Quality Management System, Pharmaceutical Products, and Audits.

Your Responsibilities:

• Defining, measuring, analyzing, and improving identified processes within the quality organization.
• Understand the Manufacturing processes and how Quality supports the process and business.
• Work within cross-functional teams to support inspection readiness activities, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Get real-world experience in the regulated environment.
• Assist with the production and analytical processes the ensure they are carried out with appropriate Sterility Assurance standards.
• Study design improvement process.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education : Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a concentration in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field) or Engineering.
• Top S kills : Strong communication , interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, along with a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Have an interest in animal health manufacturing, problem solving, scientific methods , or cross-functional skill development.

Additional Information:

Travel: 10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing
