The role runs May 31, 2027 to April 28, 2028 with full-time hours through mid‑August and then up to 20 hours per week. Candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with familiarity in Power BI, Excel, and SAP

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
  • Available to work full-time during the summer.
  • Interest in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist internal and process audits to support quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to boost performance.
  • Support implementation of improvement initiatives across the plant.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help develop and document new standard operating procedures.
  • Create training materials and help deliver training sessions.
  • Monitor effectiveness of improvements and ensure sustainability.
  • Collaborate with QA Technicians and cross-functional teams.

Internship Program 2027

The Tetra Pak Internship Program is your pass to the professional world, offering you hands‑on experience and valuable networking opportunities. You will experience real situations in the corporate world and develop on a personal and professional level. Upon joining our team, you will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day‑to‑day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare you to put your full potential into action.

We are offering one (1) different internships focused on Quality AssuranceIntern based in Vancouver, WA.

Salary Range:$22-$25 / hour

The duration of the Internship Program depends on the position, as specified below.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas, relocation, or housing for these positions.

What you will do

Quality Assurance Intern

Duration: Long-term (May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028) Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week

The Quality Assurance team plays a critical role in supporting production and ensuring adherence to quality standards across the facility. Working closely with operations, the team focuses on maintaining standard procedures, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions that enhance product quality and operational performance.

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in quality systems, continuous improvement, and manufacturing processes by:

  • Assisting with internal and process audits to support compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Participating in continuous improvement teams and projects focused on enhancing operational performance.
  • Supporting the implementation of improvement initiatives and small‑scale projects across the plant.
  • Collecting and analyzing data through observations, measurements, and process reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting in investigating process deviations, quality concerns, and areas of operational loss.
  • Contributing to the development and documentation of new or revised standard operating procedures.
  • Creating training materials and visual aids to support process improvements and standardization.
  • Supporting the delivery of training sessions and employee awareness initiatives.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented improvements and conducting follow‑up activities to ensure sustainability.
  • Collaborating with Quality Assurance Technicians and cross‑functional teams to support daily production operations.
