The internship runs May 31, 2027 – August 13, 2027 (full-time, 40 hours/week) and is based in Denton, TX. Salary range is $22-$25 per hour with not sponsoring visas, relocation, or housing.

Qualifications

  • Suggested majors: Finance, Accounting, Economics or related
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel; Power Point; Teams)
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Copilot
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Good analytical and communications skills
  • Availability for internship: May 31, 2027 – August 13, 2027, graduation has to be after the internship has ended.
  • Availability to work onsite for 8 hours a day (40 hours/week) during the summer.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis - Extract and analyze financial data to identify trends.
  • Financial Modeling - Develop and refine financial models to simulate business scenarios.
  • Process Improvement - Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and propose changes.
  • Budget and Forecast - Assist in preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts with Business Controllers.

What you will do

The Tetra Pak Finance Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and build a strong foundation in corporate finance. As an intern, you will work on real business challenges and contribute to key finance activities, including business control projects, accounting reconciliations, month‑end closing processes, and ad hoc financial analyses for stakeholders. You will be supported by a diverse and multicultural team and mentored by an experienced finance professional who will provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to support your performance and professional development.

As aFinance Intern, you will:

  • Conduct Data Analysis - Extract and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas of concern that require further investigation.
  • Support Financial Modeling - Develop and refine financial models to simulate different business scenarios that help with decision‑making.
  • Initiate Process Improvement - Identify areas of inefficiency within the financial processes and propose changes for optimization.
  • Budget and Forecast - Assist in preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with the Business Controllers.
