KDC-ONE is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Columbus, OH, to ensure products meet high standards from appearance to regulatory compliance. You will lead inspection activities, support investigations, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities include evaluating defects, tracing root causes, training staff on cGMPs and safety, and coordinating with production teams for launches and schedules. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• At least 2 years of quality-related experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus; proficiency with measuring devices and testing tools.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of FDA GMPs and OSHA safety standards.
• Clear communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate product defects and recommend solutions during inspections.
• Keep Quality Management informed of significant issues or trends.
• Investigate failures and deviations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules and support new product launches.
• Ensure staff training on operations, cGMPs, safety, and environmental practices.
• Verify ongoing quality checks for appearance, weight, torque, and other specs.
• Audit production records and forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with daily quality checks and support the team as needed.
• Maintain compliance with FDA GMP regulations and company quality systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
