Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to monitor color accuracy, document findings, and support the THM thermoforming and printing floors. You will weigh parts, perform tests, and escalate defects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include daily QA reporting, tray and part inspections, and ensuring proper filing of all QA paperwork. Prior experience in quality control is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good color perception and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and math skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Quality-control background preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer systems.
• Lift up to 30 lbs as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality issues to other shifts.
• Fill out QA Daily Reports.
• Receive shots from THM Molding and inspect parts.
• Check color with Spectrophotometer and document results.
• Inspect Thermoform molding and printing floor and record findings.
• Weigh parts and document weights.
• Perform lid fit and leak tests when applicable.
• Escalate nonconformities and issue NCMRs when needed.
• Route QA papers to correct folders.
• Enforce safety and EHS expectations across shifts.
