Job summary

Amcor in Lawrence, KS is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Technician to support the thermoforming and printing floors. You will perform color checks, document QA findings, and escalate defects as needed. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are required for accurate reporting.

The role involves routine testing, record-keeping, and following EHS guidelines. Prior QA experience is helpful, with opportunities to grow within Amcor’s global packaging operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Good color perception is essential for accurate quality checks.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and reliable communications.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge are required for data entry and reporting.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform routine QA tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality issues discovered to other shifts.
• Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports.
• Receive shots from THM Molding and inspect for defects.
• Check color with the Spectrophotometer and document results.
• Inspect jobs on Thermoform floors and record findings.
