Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance associate to monitor and document product quality on Thermoform molding and printing lines. You will perform color checks, weight measurements, and various tests to ensure conformity with specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and strong communication. You will follow QA procedures, file proper reports, and participate in safety initiatives daily.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good color perception.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality issues to other shifts and document findings.
• Fill out the QA daily reports and maintain records.
• Receive shots from THM Molding and inspect parts.
• Check color using the spectrophotometer and note results.
• Inspect Thermoform molding and printing floors and document findings.
• Size parts and weigh/document results.
• Notify technicians and escalate defects via NCMRs as needed.
• Perform lid fit and leak tests when applicable.
• Perform rigidity, haze and clarity tests as required.
• Follow QA sample procedures during sampling and testing.
• Route papers to appropriate folders and maintain filing.
• Assist with special tasks as assigned by QA Manager or Group Lead.
• Take on safety responsibilities and stop a press if needed.
• Escalate NCMRs to management and emphasize EHS at all times.
