PowerRail Distribution Incorporated is a certified AAR M-1003 distributor, manufacturer, and remanufacturer of aftermarket locomotive parts, supporting EMD and GE locomotives, as well as products for Passenger Transit, Marine, and Power markets.

This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Exeter, PA.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1. Perform inspections of in-process products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
2. Document inspected products or materials in the company database
3. Perform routine maintenance of inspection equipment
4. Control and calibrate inspection devices and gauges
5. Ensure proper documentation and records of inspections
6. Detect and prevent nonconforming materials early

Note: Small team, fast-paced environment, attention to detail required!

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret manufactured drawings and demonstrate strong computer skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work in various physical conditions
• Experience with computer proficiency, ERP systems, and QA inspections
• Experience with measuring device calibration and use
