Job summary

The Eaton Corporation Avery Creek facility is hiring a Quality Inspector for 1st shift. You will perform final and in-process quality inspections across multiple product lines, execute containment actions, and support corrective and preventive actions to improve quality metrics.

The role requires a 2-year associate degree or 1 year of manufacturing experience, and offers hourly pay at $23 with standard benefits. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree or 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits provided; within 50-mile radius of the work location only.
• Preferred: experience with AS400.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality products for customers.
• Perform containment actions for quality issues including inspection of suspect product and validation of responsible processes.
• Support Quality Engineering to drive actions that improve CONC, Warranty PPM, Final Yield, ROTY, and Supplier PPM.
• Assist in resolution of NCMRs and related problem solving.
• Collect and input Quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
• Monitor and enforce ISO 9001 procedures.
• Interact with front-end engineering to resolve quality defects.
