Job summary

Knowles Precision Devices in San Diego is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify incoming and outgoing products. You will perform visual and measurement tests, document results, and help drive quality improvements across production lines.

This role requires at least 1 year in quality inspection, familiarity with AS9100, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Strong attention to detail and process discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in quality inspection.
• DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and measurement tests to verify product conformance.
• Inspects incoming, in-process, and finished products under QA supervision using standard tools.
• Documents inspection results in paper records and QA software.
• Monitors production to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Directs adjustments to assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Communicates inspection results and suggests corrective actions.
• Leads QA projects and supports QA systems and personnel.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, and accurate reporting practices.
