Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with QA activities in a manufacturing setting using measurement devices such as meters, gauges, calipers, and computers.
• Working knowledge of basic statistical concepts and methods preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for protracted periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily inspection and documentation procedures to support quality objectives.
• Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Measure, verify and analyze data to ensure a quality product.
• Approve or reject material by confirming specifications and tests.
• Document quality findings and communicate results to supervisors.
• Report investigation results clearly and promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain equipment to ensure normal operating activity.
• Collect defective parts and secure in designated areas.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and promote a safe environment.
• Uphold 3R5S standards: Right Location, Right Quality, Right Container; Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
