Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking an Inspector I, Quality Assurance at our Queen Creek, Arizona facility to help ensure product standards through inspection and testing during manufacturing.

The QA Inspector will measure, document, and communicate results, support quality objectives, and assist with basic lab equipment maintenance while following 3R5S practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to use measurement devices and read specifications.
• Familiarity with basic statistical methods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.

Title: Inspector I, Quality Assurance

Location: Queen Creek, AZ

Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector is responsible for ensuring product standards by inspecting, measuring and testing of materials and parts during the manufacturing process. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to, conducting quality checks, basic lab equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting throughout the production process. Additionally, this role involves disassembling and disposing of scrap materials, filling out reports and escalating results to appropriate team members.

Responsibilities:

• Support organizational quality objectives by executing daily inspection and documentation procedures
• Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards
• Measure, verify and analyze data to ensure a quality product
• Approve or reject material by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests
• Document quality findings and promptly communicate results to relevant parties
• Report investigation/test/containment results in a clear, concise, and timely manner to the appropriate supervisor(s)
• Maintain equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
• Collect defective parts and materials, secure in designated areas
• Maintain compliance with internal safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment
• Uphold workplace organization and cleanliness in alignment with 3R5S standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with QA activities in a manufacturing setting, including use of measurement devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments preferred
• Working knowledge of basic statistical concepts and methods preferred
• Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, able to stand / walk for protracted periods of time.
