Job description

Major Job Duties:

1. Review documents to ensure they meet GMP and site SOP requirements.
2. Identify, investigate, and prepare reports on quality issues.
3. Perform line clearance, inspections, and physical testing in manufacturing areas.
4. Interpret generated data and communicate results to Quality management.
5. Maintain effective communication and partnership with Operations and Materials Management department.
6. Adapt to changes in the work environment and must be able to change shifts or work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

1. At a minimum, 2-year certificate in a scientific discipline from an accredited college or technical school required. QA experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
2. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while completing work in a timely manner.
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Follows instructions, policies, and procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee must be able to distinguish colors accurately.

Additional Information

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT 6PM - 6:30AM. THEY ALSO MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON DAY SHIFT, THEN THEY WILL MOVE OVER TO NIGHTS ONCE FULLY TRAINED. 3 DAYS ON/3 DAYS OFF ROTATING SCHEDULE.
