Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in ERP (MS Dynamics 365) for a retail client. This is a contract position lasting 12-24+ months, with 100% remote work. There are 3 positions available. The client is located near Madison, WI.

Currently, the client is in Phase 2 of MS Dynamics 365 implementation. QA Engineers will be involved in hands-on testing of the D365 Finance module data, followed by testing of Retail modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of QA experience
• Proven experience validating financial and data integrations in D365 Finance (2 years preferred)
• Strong SQL skills: ability to understand and troubleshoot complex queries for data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• Experience testing Retail module implementation in any ERP system
• Experience testing ERP systems with PIM, OMS, Demand Planning, or Forecasting modules
• Proficiency with Scrum methodology in Azure DevOps (ADO) for work prioritization, test documentation, defect management, and collaboration with developers and analysts
• Independent QA Engineers with strong technical and analytical skills, not just manual testers
• Hands-on experience with middleware like Boomi for integration testing
• Technical fluency with databases, APIs, ETL payloads, and troubleshooting
• Experience collaborating with external vendor systems and implementation teams
• Ability to learn quickly in complex, under-documented environments
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with third-party vendors, developers, analysts, and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Snowflake is a plus

Preferred Experience

• PIM systems, especially Stibo
• OMS platforms, especially Kibo
• Demand Planning/Forecasting platforms, especially Relex
• Understanding retail workflows, item hierarchies, SKU complexities, and omni-channel fulfillment
