Russell Tobin is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support an aerospace program in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on implementing and monitoring QMS activities in accordance with AS9100 and applicable regulatory requirements.

You will maintain procedures, control documentation, and records while facilitating audits with FAA/EASA and internal teams. The position is a 1st shift, 11-month contract with potential extension and requires strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• 3–7+ years of experience in quality assurance or a regulated industry.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO-based QMS.
• Knowledge of document control, records retention, and corrective actions.
• FAA/EASA regulatory requirements and audit processes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and monitor QMS activities in compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, records, document control, and revision control.
• Support FAA and EASA compliance activities and translate regulatory requirements into operational checks.
• Prepare audit evidence and participate in internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
• Document audit findings, track corrective actions, and verify implementation effectiveness.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) activities, hazard identification, safety reporting, and data tracking.
• Assist CAPA, root cause analysis, risk management, and identification of recurring quality trends.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, and Supply Chain to ensure QMS compliance.
• Maintain QA metrics and prepare reports highlighting compliance gaps, trends, and emerging risks.

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading organization to identify a Quality Assurance Engineer for an opportunity in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) activities in compliance with AS9100 and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, records, document control, and revision control.
• Support FAA and EASA compliance activities and translate regulatory requirements into operational compliance checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in quality assurance or a regulated industry environment.
• Experience working within an AS9100 or ISO-based Quality Management System.
• Working knowledge of document control, record retention, compliance verification, and corrective action processes.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulatory requirements and audit processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, technical documentation, data tracking, and procedural discipline.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Quality certifications or Safety Management System (SMS) training are a plus.

• Position Type: 11-month contract with possibilities of extension
