responsibilities:

Typical Day in the Role

• Lead a QA team of 2 other QA individuals.
• We have both manual testing and automated test development currently.
• You will be developing and coordinating test plans for upcoming stories being worked for the 5 applications and APIs this team manages.
• You will also participate in agile meetings that include refinement of stories that require an understanding the QA effort needed to properly test.
• Performance Expectations/metrics: The QA Engineer should participate in refinements and provide LOE for QA when pointing stories. The QA Engineer should also be able to QA stories in a reasonable time. Bugs making it past QA should be a minimum.

• Disqualifiers: lacking knowledge and experience with Test plan development and manual/automated testing.
