JOB DESCRIPTION

A large telecom employer is looking for experienced QA Engineers to join their large testing group of about 40. The group supports nine different application spaces, and this role is to support one specific subset - business process automation (BPA). This role will help out with a project around the migration from an Oracle database to Snowflake. This is the billing team's project, but the migration is impacting the BPA team. There are some custom tables that BPA works closely with that aren't migrated over to Snowflake yet. This role will work heavily with UI, Web Services (Postman) and SQL.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years of experience with quality assurance

- Strong SQL skills - ability to read/write queries, ability to demonstrate knowledge of several types of joins, common table expressions, selects, deletes, updates, inserts, etc.

- Experience with UI and web services testing

- Strong QA foundational skills - creating test cases, creating scenarios for test cases, etc.

- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical knowledge to the PMO

- Ability to work on site 4 days a week in Maryland Heights, MO
