Job summary

accel bi corporation is seeking a skilled quality assurance engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working directly with accel bi corporation. We are looking for a self-driven QA professional who can take ownership of testing activities, work independently, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality results in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for testability and completeness.
• Develop test conditions, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated testing activities.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Maintain test documentation, defect tracking, and traceability records.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and scrum teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.
• Identify testing risks and proactively recommend solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Software Testing experience.
• Experience testing web, client/server, GUI, and database applications.
• Experience with requirements analysis and automated test development.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management, and QA best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• 2+ years of experience executing SQL queries for validation and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tricentis qTest and Tosca.
• Experience developing and executing Tosca automation scripts.
• Experience testing healthcare, human services, or public sector applications.
• Experience with Curam products.
• All work must be performed onsite in Raleigh, NC.
• Some local travel may be required.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
