Job summary

The State of North Carolina is seeking a Senior Automation Tester for a 10-month contract to support the Managed Care Transition Project within DHHS. Start date is ASAP and the role requires 40 hours per week with webcam interviews.

Responsibilities include assessing testability, executing functional, integration and regression tests, scripting automated test suites, and using HP ALM/JIRA for test and defect management. Experience with healthcare claims testing and Agile is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with TOSCA automated testing tool.
• QA and testing on EDI applications
• Experience assessing the testability of requirements based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents
• Experience in the execution of functional, integration, and regression testing
• Hands-on experience with Test and Defect Management Tools (HP ALM, JIRA)
• Experience in testing web applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology
• Experience in scripting automated test suites
• Experience working with Business Teams to write Business and QA documents

Responsibilities
