Job summary

Software Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Tester to perform end-to-end testing of standard and custom Salesforce solutions.

The role focuses on validating integrations, data migrations, configurations, and deployments while ensuring data integrity and quality across releases. The ideal candidate will develop comprehensive test scenarios and scripts, collaborate with developers, admins, and product stakeholders, and apply Agile QA practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Salesforce functional and end-to-end testing.
• Proficient in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, system, and UAT testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SOQL and SQL for data validation and database testing.
• Skilled in API testing using REST and SOAP web services.
• Experienced with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca or CRT.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes.
• Experienced in Salesforce data migration, data validation, and data integrity testing.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Child Welfare domain experience – Desired.

Job description

• Ability to perform testing activities, make informed decisions, and manage complex work efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership and accountability for assigned work.
• Strong experience testing Salesforce applications, including standard and custom functionality, configurations, workflows/flows, validation rules, security, reports, dashboards, and business processes.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations, APIs, web services, data exchanges, and interfaces with external systems.
• Experience validating Salesforce data migration, data integrity, business rules, and data relationships.
• Experience testing Salesforce releases, enhancements, configurations, customizations, and deployments.
• Ability to develop comprehensive Salesforce test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data, and requirements traceability.
• Experience with automation and testing tools such as QTest, Tricentis Tosca, and CRT
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, product owners, scrum masters, and other technical and business stakeholders
