eNGINE is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team in Pittsburgh. You will design, execute, and maintain manual tests, build data using SQL, and track defects in Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile or Waterfall projects to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will also explore automation opportunities, participate in CI/CD, and contribute to performance testing using tools like JMeter.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of QA experience.
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and execute manual test cases and scripts in Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Create and manage test cases, data, and defects in Azure DevOps.
  • Perform functional, regression, and API testing for web and mobile apps.
  • Use SQL to build and validate test data.
  • Triage defects, support resolution, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Partner with developers, PMs, and architects to deliver quality software in Agile ceremonies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and contribute to automation scripts and regression suite.
  • Support performance, load, and scalability testing using JMeter or similar tools.
  • Keep up with emerging testing tools and AI-enabled QA practices.
  • Perform storm-response and other duties as assigned.

eNGINE is seeking a QA Analyst who pairs strong technical skills with a warm, easygoing personality.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, write, and execute manual test cases and scripts in Agile (and, where needed, Waterfall) project environments
  • Create and manage test cases, test data, and defect tracking in Azure DevOps
  • Perform functional, regression, and basic API testing across customer-facing web and mobile applications
  • Use SQL to build and validate test data
  • Triage defects, support resolution, and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders
  • Partner with developers, product owners, and architects to deliver quality software, and take part in Agile ceremonies
  • Spot opportunities to automate and contribute to automation scripts, frameworks, and the regression suite where feasible
  • Support performance, load, stress, and scalability testing for web and enterprise applications using JMeter or similar tools, and help identify bottlenecks
  • Keep up with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in testing, including how AI can support QA work
  • Perform storm-response and other job-related duties as assigned
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant QA experience
  • Solid understanding of databases and database structures, and working SQL skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach, especially when working with teammates who have different priorities or working styles
Preferred:
  • Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, or similar)
  • API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into build and release workflows
  • Basic scripting in C# or Python
  • Experience with Oracle Utility Suite, or web and mobile application development
  • Exposure to integration testing, regulatory or ADA/accessibility requirements, or team leadership
