Curtiss-Wright EMD in Cheswick, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will support design and production quality processes for highly engineered products and help implement the quality assurance program across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Required: a BS in engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, DoD eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance; Six Sigma Belt preferred and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. U.S. citizens only.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or related technical degree.
• US citizen due to DoD requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Auditing experience is a plus.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt / Green Belt preferred.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5) is a plus.

• Participate in internal and external audits, surveillances, and inspections
• Assist in translating customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions
• Provide technical support to inspectors and operators
